Goalkeeper Terka Merlai has completed a move to Nigeria professional football league side Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi.
The experienced shot-stopper signed for the Makurdi-based club on Wednesday and he’s expected to team up with the team ahead of the second stanza of the league.
This is Terka Merlai’s third stint with Lobi Stars, haven represented the team in the 2013/14 and 2015-16 seasons.
He has also played for Niger Tornadoes and Yobe Desert stars, but the high point of his career remain when he scored 7 goals for Lobi Stars in 2013 – 2014.
He becomes the seventh goalkeeper at the club, after Stanley Nwabali, Emmanuel Daniel, Mustapha Aliko, Moses Ocheje, Daniel Atsaka, and Faith James.
