Abia Warriors head Coach Imama Amapakabo is optimistic that the team will bounce back from the defeat to Nasarawa United.
Amapakabo watched his side’s 8-match unbeaten run come to an end in a 5-3 defeat on Sunday in Lafia.
In a chat with brila.net, the Abia Warriors Gaffer said he’s proud of the effort of his boys and has no regrets over the result.
He added that they don’t have time to dwell on the game as there are still many more points to fight for.
“The league is still much open. I think we have about twenty, twenty-one games left now, so the focus is to keep working and see where we finish,” the Abia Warriors Coach said.
“We have shown what we can do in recent weeks, So there are a lot of positives for us to draw from, He said ”.
Abia Warriors will be aiming to return to winning when they host Plateau United at the Okigwe Township Stadium in Match-day 19.
