Ex Ghanaian international, Laryea Kingston believes that the technical team led by Chris Hughton can help the Black Stars overcome the Super Eagles and possibly usher in a new era.
Hughton and Otto Addo were appointed following the dismissal of Milovan Rajevac after Ghana’s dismal performance at the African Cup of Nations.
The pair will lead the team out for the first time since their appointment, when they clash with Super Eagles for the FIFA World Cup qualification playoff this Friday.
“I’m very happy with current technical team, because of their experiences. They have been around elite football environment for sometimes now and I believe they have what it takes to turn things around.”
“I’m not only keen on what this technical team can do against Nigeria in this playoff , I’m looking forward to seeing them long term” He told Ghanaian starion Joysports.
On the game, the former locomotive mowcow man believes the Super Eagles are in better position to win.
“To be honest and fair I think Nigeria are more organized than Ghana.”
“We all know the coach the took us to the last African Cup of Nations is no more with the team and we also changed coaches, before we got to Milovan,so there have never been consistency in the technical crew.”
