Former Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr says there is still hope for Nigerian Football despite the Country’s failed bid to reach the World Cup in Qatar.
In an exclusive chat with BRL, Rohr said, he was disappointed with the outcome of the match in Abuja, but believes the Nation will come back stronger.
Despite guiding the Super Eagles to the final phase of the World Cup qualification, the German was sacked by the Nigeria Football Federation last December.
Augustine Eguavoen was named his replacement but the team lost on away goals to Ghana in the playoff to miss out of the mundial.
“I hope that Nigeria will come back and the young players we have will fight together again and write a better page in the future for Nigerian football,” Rohr said.
