Former Nigeria international Bright Omokaro has expressed delight at the final decision of the Nigeria Football Federation to part ways with Franco-German coach Gernot Rohr.
The former player also stressed that the timing of the decision even with less than a month to the AFCON in Cameroon will not affect the Super Eagles negatively.
Omokaro speaking in a chat with brila.net said that the decision to sack Gernot Rohr will do just one thing which is to offer a fresh lease of life to the make and shape of the national team because players will now have to step up their performance especially those who have grown complacent lately about their spots in the national team.
