Tobi Amusan Excited About National Honour

World 100 metres hurdle record holder, Tobi Amusan has described how good she feels being recognized by her country and be bestowed with a National honour.

Amusan shared her excitement saying that it was good that she and the rest of the Commonwealth contingent put in the work and got the recognition.

She was conferred OON by President Muhammadu Buhari, for her feat at the 2022 Commonwealth games and also an all round performance during the last athletics season.

The World Champions said it feels good to be recognized by the government of her country, she also said she would continue to work hard to make her people proud.

Tobi Amusan, who recently got her world record in 100 metres hurdles ratified by the world Athletics body, however refused to disclose the outcome of her out of competition test, mandatory by the integrity unit of the world athletics WADA, saying it is private.

However, she said for her to be ratified, it means she is free from any concerns about doping.
