Tokyo Olympics: Chukwuebuka Enekwechi unable to make podium finish in the Men’s Shot Put Final

Team Nigeria’s Chukwuebuka Enekwechi was unable to win a medal in the men’s shot put final at Tokyo 2020 Olympics Games.

The Nigerian threw a distance of 19.74m finishing last amongst all 12 competitors in the final.

The disappointing results is another blow for Nigeria’s hope of adding to two modals won at the ongoing Games.

Ryan Crouser of United States of America threw an Olympic record of 23.30m to win gold in the event, while his compatriot Joseph Mathias Kovacs threw 12.65m to win the silver.
