Turkish club Trabzonspor is showing interest in signing Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare, but negotiations have hit a snag over the player’s salary demands.
According to transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, Arokodare is requesting an annual salary of €2.5 million, a figure that Trabzonspor considers excessive.
The club had been prepared to offer up to €1.5 million per year, creating a significant gap in expectations.
Previously, Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws reported that Trabzonspor had made an official approach to KRC Genk, offering a transfer fee of €7 million for Arokodare.
However, the deal now appears unlikely due to the ongoing dispute over personal terms.
Trabzonspor’s interest in Arokodare comes after unsuccessful attempts to reach an agreement with Southampton for Paul Onuachu.
