The Nigerian Olympic silver medalist also a worthwhile time at Italy. Though he played under Jose Mourinho at Inter, but it was at Chievo that the former Flying Eagle lit up the Serie A. Scoring in his Serie debut in 2005 against Parma, Nsofor went on to score 19 goals in his many games for Chievo.


3, Christian Obodo (Perugia, Fiorentina, Udinese, Lecce)

The former Super Eagles energetic and skillful defensive midfielder spend 12 years in the Italian elite league.

After the impressive show at the 2001 U-20 World Youth Championships, he was snapped by Serie A outfit Perugia. He scored his first Serie A goal against Inter Milan in 2003.

Obodo went on to score 10 league goals in over 180 Serie A appearance.

4, Stephen Makinwa (Modena, Atalanta, Palermo, Genoa, Reggina, Lazio, Chievo)

The former Super Eagles international spent over 10 years in Italian football. Though he spent the early part of his stay in the Italian lower tier, he had an impressive Serie A career.

With a UEFA Champions League experience under his belt while at Lazio, he scored more than 16 Serie A goals in his many appearances.
