Super Eagles star Ola Aina who is ruled out in today’s friendly with the Cranes of Uganda in an international friendly in Asaba has been permitted to return to Italy.
According to Rohr, an inflammation of the heel kept him out of the 18-man squad in Saturday afternoon’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.
Aina has been named in Torino’s match day squad for all their matches in the Italian Serie A so far this season and was an unused substitute in only one, against Bologna on October 21.
The former England U19 captain is in a race against time to be fit for Torino’s next match against Cagliari next week Monday.
