Niger Tornadoes FC have continued in their efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the second stanza of the NPFL.

Tornadoes succeeded in their bid to sign Wikki Tourists star man Abdulraheem Shola.

Shola’s deal was confirmed, Tuesday, following the successful completion of his medicals in Minna on Monday.

The Attackig midfielder has since resumed training with coach Bala Abubakar’s first team.

Abdulraheem Shola made nine appearances for Wikki Tourists during the first half of the campaign and was impressive.

The 21 year-old was courted by Sunshine Stars and Kwara United, but Niger Tornadoes won the race for his signature.

He becomes the lastest player to link up with Minna-based club, after Ibrahim Shuaibu, who signed for the team after seven years in Europe.

Shuaibu spent time in Norway and Armenia before returning to the Nigerian League.

Niger Tornadoes are 5th in group B and will make a serious push for a super 6 playoff spot.
