Striker Tosin Omoyele is on the verge of signing for newly crowned Nigerian Champions Rivers United.
The striker is currently contracted to Enyimba and talks have progressed between his entourage and Rivers United.
Omoyele fell out with the Enyimba last and was forced to spend the second half of last season at Katsina United.
The player is however not interested in returning to Aba for the remainder of his contract and hoping that a deal could be struck between both clubs.
Omoyele is seen as an ideal replacement for Ishaq Rafiu and has reached an agreement to sign for Slovenian giants NK Maribor.
He previously played for Osun United and Plateau United before switching to Enyimba and he was part of the Super Eagles squad to tour of United States back in May.
