Trabzonspor are interested in signing Super Eagles striker Henry Onyekuru ahead of next season.
The newly crowned champions Trabzonspor want to bolster their squad for next season and are in the market for a striker.
Top striker Anthony Nwakaeme is yet to sign an extension with the club and there are indications that he might leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old who contributed 10 goals and 11 assists to the league triumph has been linked with Istanbul giants Fenerbahce and Besiktas.
According to Turkish website Cumhuriyet, should Nwakaeme refuse to extend his stay at the Club, Trabzonspor will move quickly for Onyekuru, who is now desperate to leave Olympiacos of Greece, following a difficult first season.
Onyekuru is also wanted by Adana Demirspor, who themselves have impressed everyone with their performance despite playing their first season in the topflight.
Vincenzo Montella the head coach of, Adana Demirspor, is said to be an admirer of Onyekuru and they’ll rival Trabzonspor for his signature.
