A lot of tributes have kept pouring in from all angles for the late Fiorentina skipper and defender, Davide Astori.
That is aftermath of former Lazio Midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi alongside AC Milan and Italy centre-half, Leonardo Bonucci making a post on social media on Sunday night.
The defender wrote on his official Instagram page: “You have gone to play football up there.”
Bonucci further gave an insight into his relationship with Astori after the Fiorentina captain died in his sleep on Sunday.
The sudden passing away of the centre-back has left the whole football world in a serious round of mourning.
That is after the Maussier found Astori to have left the world in his hotel room early on Sunday morning.
And that incident happened only a few hours before Fiorentina were set to clash with Udinese in the Serie A.
The Italian Football Federation then immediately went ahead to postpone all Serie A matches as a result of the tragedy.
And as it stands at this very point in time, the cause of the 31-year-old’s death is still very unclear.
Astori earned 14 caps for Italy after making his international bow in a friendly affair against Ukraine back in 2011.
