Troost-Ekong backs Super Eagles teammate Onuachu

Super Eagles Vice Captain, William Troost-Ekong has advised Paul Onuachu to continue working hard, after failing to secure his dream transfer.

Onuachu scored 35 goals for KRC Genk last season, and was tipped to make a move to bigger Clubs in Europe, before the end of last summer transfer window.

Arsenal, Lyon and West Ham reportedly shown interest in the big striker, but none of the rumors, materialized.

After disappointing start to the season, Onuachu is now back to his goalscoring best, hitting eleven for Genk in the last eight games, including hat-trick against Saraing over the weekend

In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Ekong, said:

“This lad (Onuachu) scored 35 goals goals last season, and I can’t believe a big Club hasn’t signed him up. But he has to continue working hard.”

Onuachu will be in action again for Genk this Thursday. The Belgian giants will take on Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.
