Troost-Ekong happy to be back in action for Watford

William Troost-Ekong said he is happy to be back on pitch after featuring in pre season friendly against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

William Troost-Ekong, was in the starting 11 alongside his compatriot Oghenekaro Etebo joined the club on loan from Stoke City.

The game was played at the Vicarage Road and it ended in a draw as both side failed to find the back of the net.

It was Watford’s first test game at the ongoing pre season and Ekong said he’s excited to play a part.

He also congratulated Etebo and other players that debuted for the Hornets against the Baggies.

“Loved being back at the Vic in front of the fans! Well done to all the young lads with their debuts ” he said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, another new signing Emmanuel Dennis was left out of the game, along with Isaac Success.
