Super Eagles trio of William Troost Ekong, Alexander Iwobi, and Ola Aina have all been ruled out of the 2019 AFCON qualifier against Seychelles on Saturday.
The NFF reported on Monday evening that the Gunners number seventeen will not show up in Seychelles owing to ‘injury’
On Sunday, Arsenal coach Unai Emery had revealed that Iwobi was not in the traveling party for the Premier League clash against Cardiff City due to illness.
It is also confirmed that Italian-based duo, Udinese’s William Troost-Ekong, and Torino’s Ola Aina, will not see action against the Pirates after picking up injuries in the last round of matches in the Serie A.
Udinese Technical Manager Daniele Pradè, told UdiNews TV that Troost-Ekong suffered an injury during the match against Fiorentina and thanked the Nigeria Football Federation for allowing the defender to remain in Udine.
Udinese are optimistic that their summer signing from Bursaspor would have fully recovered before they face Torino on September 15.
