William Troost-Ekong could be on the move from Watford as it appears the CB is not in the plans of Manager Rob Edwards for the upcoming season.
According to The Athletic, the Hornets will consider offers for the defender from interested Clubs, as he’s not in the plans of the new coach.
The report also suggests that Watford will cut their wage bill by approximately 30 percent and Ekong – one of the highest earners at the club – is among those on the list to be offloaded.
Ekong started brightly at the club, but later lost his place in the squad under former boss Claudio Ranieri, no thanks to loss of form and injury.
Meanwhile, the CB still has three years left on his contract and last season he was linked with a move to LA Galaxy in the MLS.
The former Udinese man achieved his dream of playing in the Premier League, earning 17 top-flight appearances for the Hornets last season.
