TSG appointment, a recognition of hardwork, says Amunike

Former Super Eagles winger Emmanuel Amuneke Who was recently appointed into CAF’s Technical Study Group (TSG) for the U-20 AFCON currently holding in the Niger Republic has stated that his appointment as a member was a result of his hard work in the game.

The Tanzania Coach in a tête-à-tête with  brila.net explained how timely the creation of the CAF Technical Study Group is for this tournament, as the players in the tournament could in the next few years make up the bulk of players in the National Teams for countries in the continent and as such, will aid progression and development.
The former Barcelona player applauded the association for the initiative to establish a panel of experts because he believes Africa should make bold steps on the world stage and it starts with little steps such as this.
The sole aim of a Technical Study Group is to analyze matches at tournaments and highlight the latest trends in the game.
TSG also observe teams in matches and training sessions. Impressions are fleshed out in a series of in-depth conversations, with the objective of prompting discussion and an exchange of views.
