Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso said he already has half of his squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The boys have been training in Abuja with Bosso and played some friendly games ahead of the tournament to be hosted by Egypt.
Nigeria rounded up the first phase of their training exercise on Saturday with nine friendlies, winning eight and losing one.
Speaking to the media before the team proceeds on a two-week recess, Bosso said he’s getting closer to identifying his final squad.
He revealed that, 12 spots in the squad has been taken, leaving 12 vacant at the moment.
The Flying Eagles will resume camping for the U-20 AFCON on January 6, few weeks before the tournament kicks off in Egypt.
The draws for the tournament will be made on December 23.
