Enyimba have announced the termination of former Captain Mfon Udoh’s five-year contract after both parties agreed to mutually part ways.

The player’s future had been cast in doubts recently after the club suspended the forward for gross misconduct.

However, in a letter dated 7th November, Enyimba stated that the player was now free to join any club of his choice; the NFF and LMC were copied.

“It is mutually agreed that the above player of the club be released to play for any club of his choice.

“Both parties are absolved of all financial encumbrances and obligations. The Nigerian Football Federation and the League Management Company are both by a copy of this letter duly notified,” a club statement signed by its chairman read.
