Tolu Arokodare, has been handed a one-match suspension by European Football Governing Body UEFA.
Arokodare was sent off in stoppage time during Genk’s UEFA Europa Conference League home match against Norwegian club, Ferencvaros last Thursday.
The 22 year-old, initially started the game on the bench and came on as a substitute for Andi Zeqiri, 15 minutes before the end of the match.
He was given a yellow card for a tackle, but it was upgraded to red card after the intervention of video assistant referee.
Genk, however appealed the decision, but it was turned and as a result Arokodare will serve a match suspension.
