Goals celebrations in football of late have taken new dimensions from dance moves, to pose or signs, but having a failed dance celebration is an uncommon sight/rare and when it results to an injury then that’s freakish, that was the case of UFC fighter Johnny Walker.
Johnny Walker’s celebration started so well, with a thankful salute to the crowd but it didn’t end so smartly.
After winning in 36 seconds, stopping Misha Cirkunov for his third straight first-round UFC win in Las Vegas, Brazil’s Walker attempted the ‘worm’ dance move.
But he failed miserably, landing awkwardly and dislocating his shoulder.
The number 14-ranked contender, who also won his last two bouts with quick knockouts, beat Cirkunov with a stunning flying knee at UFC 235. On the winning move, he said: “I train every move thousands and thousands of times and I have to be perfect.” Maybe Walker would now practice dance celebration, as he does to his UFC moves.
However, Johnny Walker has said he’s doing fine in a tweet;
EU estou bem , meu ombro nao esta muito ruim , so preciso ir fazer alguns exames e checar para tem 100 % de certeza que nao foi nada serio
I’m fine, my shoulder is not too bad, I just need to go do some exams and check to be 100% sure that it was nothing serious pic.twitter.com/VoWHSzQXEf
