Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe has stated that Unilag is ready to host the 26th edition of the Nigerian Universities Games this year and gave confirmation that the tournament will hold in 2019.
Ogundipe speaking at the NUGA games pre-seminar which was held at the School’s Senate chamber on Thursday 14th March 2019 stated expressly that the school has four cardinal objectives for the games which are to host the best ever NUGA games.
In his words, the objectives are to expose the athletes that will be participating from various schools, to ensure that the school gets accolades for hosting the games and lastly to emerge as the overall winner of the 26th edition of the NUGA games.
