Kano Pillars technical adviser, Usman Abdallah has defended his side following their 2-0 defeat to Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium, where Sunday Megwo and Emmanuel Ogbuagu sealed victory for the hosts.

In a post-match interview, Abdallah acknowledged that his team is still a work in progress, emphasizing that there is room for improvement.

He praised Abia Warriors for their performance while expressing optimism about his team’s development.

“We still have areas to address because we’re in the process of building the team,” Abdallah said. “We are constantly making adjustments and testing the players we’ve signed. Over time, I believe we will come together and form a solid team.”
