Usman Abd’allah regrets missing out on National team role

Wikki Tourists coach Usman Abd’allah has expressed his disappointment after missing out on the chance to get a role with the National teams.

The NFF recently confirmed the appointment of Isah Ladan Bosso for the Flying Eagles, Fatai Amoo for U-17, and  Christopher Danjuma retaining the U20 Girls’ lead role, and Bankole Olowookere emerging as Head Coach of the U17 girls, Flamingos.

In a chat with brila.net with a voice of disappointment, Abd’allah insisted that he has the capacity to lead a National team side and some of the top ex Internationals in the country can attest to his ability.

“I know that some older former Nigerian players like the Daniel Amokachi and  Garba Lawal all know my antecedent in coaching, they are aware of my abilities,” the former Enyimba boss said.

The coach also stated that his main coaching target is the National team and that was the reason for making a return to the country a few years ago.
