Utaka Explains Why Akor Adams’ is Excelling in France

Club Legend John Utaka praised Adams Akor impressive start to his Montpellier career.

Since his transfer from the Norwegian Eliteserien to the French Ligue 1, the 23-year-old Adams has been impressive.

 

The striker has scored five goals since his debut for the former French Ligue 1 Champions in August.

Former Montpellier striker, John Utaka has also been impressed with Adams’ swift adaptation to the highly competitive French league.

“He’s a good boy, intelligent, he adapts quickly. He wants to progress. He knows his role here.

“He knows that his work will be useful to the team,” Utaka told L’Equipe via allezpaillade.

“If he is aware of it, that is the most important thing.”

Adams, according to reports is now a transfer target for seven-time European champions AC Milan.

The Rossoneri believes the Nigerian striker has potential to become a significant force in European football.
