Uzoho Vows To Be Back And Better

Super Eagles’ goalkeeper Francis Uzoho is optimistic that he will come back stronger and better on the pitch again, after sustaining injury in Sunday’s international friendly against Brazil which ended 1-1.

Uzoho was replaced by Maduka Okoye in the 63rd minutes, after he landed awkwardly in the penalty box and was later stretched off in what seems to be a serious injury.

The 20-year-old however took to his twitter handle to assure the fans that he will be back into action very soon.

“A big thank you to you all 🙏🏽. I will be be back stronger and betterIN CHRIST ALONE, “Uzoho tweeted.

After going to the 2019 African Cup of Nations as the third choice , Uzoho has now started the Super Eagles last two games with Ukraine and Brazil respectively.

He has also made five appearances and kept three clean sheets this season for Omonia Nikosia.
