Uzoho was different class — McTominay hails Super Eagles star

Manchester United’s McTominay paid tribute to Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho following his heroic performance for Omonia Nicosia on Thursday.

 

Uzoho was in goal for Omonia Nicosia in their Europa League clash with the Red Devils at Old Trafford.

 

The Nigerian international was excellent, denying United on numerous occasions before Mctominay finally beat him with the winner in the added time.

 

The Scottish star his post-match interview, paid tribute to Uzoho, claiming he was ‘different class’.

 

The midfielder said: “You have to be patient sometimes. Marcus [Rashford] had so many chances and he did everything but score.

 

“Their goalkeeper was a different class but we created enough chances and deserved to score in the end.”

 

Manchester United had 13 shots on target during the game, with Uzoho saving 12 of them.
