Former NPFL star Victor Ezeji has downplayed any joy in the inclusion of 4 home based players in the list of invited players to the national camp in France ahead of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
Ezeji in a chat with Brila.net stated emphatically that the invitation of the home based players was just to fulfill all righteousness by the coach and that the invitation was so strategic that it is so clear none of the home based professionals will come close to the field not to imagine making the line up on match day.
