Victor Osimhen has turned down an offer from Al Hilal, despite the Saudi Arabian club reaching an agreement with Napoli to trigger his €75 million release clause.

The deal would have seen the Nigerian striker earn a staggering €40 million per year.

According to Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba, Osimhen rejected the move because he prefers to remain in Europe, prioritizing sporting objectives over lucrative financial packages.

The report also claims that the 25-year-old forward has received interest from a top Italian club.

Meanwhile, Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly willing to meet Osimhen’s release clause and offer him his desired salary.

The Super Lig champions see the Nigerian star as a key target as they want to build the team around him and are prioritizing his permanent signing this summer.

The 26 year old had a tally of 37 goals and eight assists last season. He won the Super Lig Golden boot.
