Atalanta are looking set to complete the signing of Charleroi and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, who has been linked with a move to Southampton.
According to claims from Belgian news outlet DH, the Serie A club are closing in on a deal for the promising Nigerian attacker, with the Italian club ready to spend €15 million.
Southampton had been noted as potential suitors for Osimhen, who enjoyed an excellent season in the Pro League during a loan spell with Charleroi.
The 20-year-old spent this season on loan from Wolfsburg and the club activated their clause to buy outright for €3.5m.
He scored an impressive 20 goals in 36 competitive games for RSC Charleroi, along with four assists.
Osimhen has two senior caps for Nigeria under his belt already and is tipped for great things, as a center-forward or on either side of a trident attack.
