Former Nigeria and Udinese midfielder, Christian Obodo has offered his opinion on Victor Osimhen’s club future, urging the Forward to look beyond Napoli after his loan spell at Galatasaray SK.
In an exclusive interview on Brila FM’s breakfast show ‘No Holds Barred’ with Ifeanyi Udeze, Obodo gave his verdict on Osimhen and his strained relationship with Napoli manager, Antonio Conte.
“It all still depends on Osimhen. Any player that has set his mind to leave a club should be allowed to leave.”

“If he gets a better option in a good league like La Liga or Premier League, he should go.”
Obodo, who played in Italy for 11 years, concluded by saying, “He helps the team, he works hard and as a striker, he scores. I would like him to go to Inter Milan or Juventus. If Osimhen is to return (Serie A), he should not just go back to Napoli.”
The Galatasaray loanee has scored 26 goals in 30 appearances for the Turkish club since leaving Napoli last September.
