Villarreal coach Unai Emery says he is happy with the return of Samuel Chukwueze and he’s confident, the Nigerian will help the team in the nearest future.
Chukwueze featured for Villarreal for the third time this season in the 3-3 draw against Cadiz at the Estadio de la Cerámica on Tuesday.
It was his third appearance for the Yellow Submarine Club since returning from the injury he sustained back in May.
In a chat with the media after the game against Cadiz, The Hondarribia Coach gave credit to the players for fighting back after and the return of Chukwueze will help the team in the nearest future.
“After 90 minutes, I give credit to the draw because the team has been responsive.”
“The draw is insufficient, but there are good things, such as the recovery of certain players, who will come very well for future games.” He said.
Villarreal is on a bad run of one win from their last six league game. They are 12th on the log with 12 points from 10 games.
