Former coach of Nigeria’s Men basketball national team D’Tigers William Voight has tipped Senegal and defending champion Tunisia ahead of Nigeria’s D’Tigers for Afrobasket title contention in the fast-approaching 2021 Afrobasket Championship which begins on Tuesday in Kigali, Rwanda.
Voight speaking in a chat with brila.net said while the Nigerian team has an air of unpredictability about them because of the composition of the roster for the competition, the presence of a number of home-based players with the domestic league not on is a testament to the state of the Nigerian team and the quality compared to Senegal who will be coming with a number of players who wants to impress after failing to qualify at the Olympics qualification tournament.
