Watford coach, Roy Hodgson singled out Emmanuel Dennis for praises, despite the home defeat against Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.
Dennis scored Watford’s only goal as the Hornets suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Brentford at the Vicarage Road.
The Nigerian who has now scored 10 goals in the Premier League has the bright spot in Watford’s very poor season.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Hodgson said he’s pleased with the contribution of the forward.
“I thought today was one of, certainly his better games, not only individually but also as a team player,” Hodgson remarked.
“And Dennis, I think, will feel quite pleased with his performance.”
Dennis has contributed 10 goals and provided five assists in 30 Premier League games for Watford so far this season season.
He has also been linked with a move to Premier League side Leeds United and Aston Villa.
