Watford’s Isaac Success to lead Super Eagles attack against South Africa

Isaac Success is set to lead the attack of the Super Eagles of Nigeria when they take on South Africa in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers following the withdrawal of Odion Ighalo due to injury.

Success played second fiddle to Ighalo during the last round of qualifiers coming on as a substitute in the first game before sitting out the entirety of the second leg in Tunisia.

Ighalo took the game really well by scoring five goals in both games.

Odion’s absence was confirmed yesterday when Henry Onyekuru was announced as his replacement following the injury he picked up in a league game for his Chinese team Chanchung Yatai.

However, Success will still have to beat off competition from the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho and Victor Osimhen who is back in the team after a fine run in front of goal for his Belgium side Charleroi.
