Rangers International football club of Enugu will be engaging AS Pelican of Gabon in the second leg, second round of CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

Rangers left full-back – Ugwu Uwadiegwu has added his voice to others predicting Rangers victory in the must-win game.

According to Uwadiegwu, “we have three results in football- win, draw or loss. I believe they have taken their own in their home, it is our time to celebrate. The loss have made us understand that we must win our match on Sunday come rain or shine”.

On the team’s preparedness, Ugwu said, “We have received all the Technical preparations from the Technical department of Rangers and it’s enough to see us through to the next round”.

Ugwu attributed the away loss to lack of concentration in a few minutes and pleaded for Rangers supports and teeming fans to come out in their numbers and cheer them to victory. In his words, “we need your total support and prayers. I know everything is possible with God on our side”.

At the time of filing this report, the players are in section with the mental coach of Rangers – a football psychologist Emeka Onaga.

Earlier, Tony Shimaga, Tope Olusesi, Chidera Ezeh and the Acting Head coach, Benedict Ugwu predicted victory for Rangers in the match against AS Pelican of Gabon.
