Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum says he learned a lot about his players in the last few days and lauded the Nigeria Football Federation for their support.
The team had a nine days training exercise in Abu, where Waldrum and his assistants worked closely with them.
It is the third training camp the Federation has organized for the team since Waldrum was appointed as the Head coach of the team.
Speaking to the press, The American gaffer, said he’s happy with what he saw from the home players and praised the football governing body for their support.
“I am very delighted with the support the Federation has always given to the team; this has helped our work. I am happy we had this training camp as we were able to see the home-based players and the overseas-based, and everyone bonded very well. It has been a marvelous experience and the joy among the players is palpable.
“We will look to have periodic campings like this in order to be able to put forward the best of Nigeria women players for matches and championships at any time.” He said.
The camping exercise is part of the preparation for the important match against the Female Elephants of Cote D’Ivoire.
Waldrum will advance to the African Women’s Championship in Morroco if they beat the Ivorians.
