Seychelles National team Goalkeeper, Jerome Longueuil has insisted that the Pirates have what it takes to stop the Super Eagles on Nigeria in Saturday’s encounter.
Speaking after a training session with brila.net’s reporter Okoroji Chidozie Overdose, Jerome admitted that Nigeria is one of the biggest in Africa Football but refuse to concede defeat in advance.
“We can Stop Nigeria If everything goes well”
“If everything goes well with our defense, and other areas, we can stop the Eagles.”
The shot-stopper also admitted that Nigeria game will be Seychelles toughest game in history after playing Tunisia 10 years ago.
“This would be our biggest game, and toughest game in recent times”
“Nigeria just came back from the World Cup and we all saw their performance at the Mundial” the goalkeeper added.
The Seychelles National team are in high spirit training ahead of Saturday’s must-win clash against Nigeria after losing 5-1 in their first match against Libya.
