Rivers United gaffer Stanley Eguma says his side can’t afford to drop a point against Lobi Stars this Sunday.
Eguma will lead his wards out against the Pride of Benue at the Aper Aku Stadium with the hope of maintaining their newfound form.
Rivers United has enjoyed good fortune lately by picking a point against Plateau United in Jos, before recording a 2-0 win over MFM FC in Port Harcourt.
A good result against Lobi Stars will hand Rivers United a chance to start the process of climbing up the table and technical adviser Stanley Eguma admitted he has fashioned out a strategy and tactics to help the boys pass the challenge.
“We can’t afford to drop points there, although Lobi Stars are a very difficult team to play.”
“We have to find the right tactics and strategies to help the boys during the game,” he said.
Lobi Stars are sitting in the 10th position on the table with 22 points, while Stanley Eguma’s men occupy the sixth position with 26 points from 15 matches.
