Following the surprising draw against Sierra Leone, Leon Balogun said the Super Eagles have learned from their mistakes and ready to go again on Tuesday.
The Gernot Rohr tutored side let go of their four goals lead to settling for a 4 – 4 draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City last Friday.
The results mean the Super Eagles three points lead in Group L was reduced to just one, after the Benin Republic beat Lesotho 1 – 0 on Saturday.
However, the Super Eagles returned to training ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Freetown and Balogun said they will go all out to redeem themselves.
“Lesson to learn from last night (Friday: never let success get to your head and never let failure get to your heart, We will come out on top of this time,” he said.
