Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has warned his lads against underrating the Seychelles National team when both teams meet on Saturday.
In a chat with brila.net’s Chidozie Okoroji, The Franco-German tactician said Nigeria is not the biggest team in Africa and we all should stop seeing ourselves as the biggest.
“Facing a team like Seychelles where everyone makes you feel like you are the best, its brings you under a lot of pressure”
“We are here training as normal, two sessions per day”
“We are not taking anything for granted” the Coach added.
Rohr led the Super Eagles to the last summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia where Nigeria failed to advance from the first round of the tournament.
The 65-year-old gaffer is now expecting his team to continue with their beautiful World Cup performance that saw them beat Iceland and lose narrowly to a Messi-inspired Argentina side.
The Super Eagles will on Saturday, 8th September face Seychelles after losing their first AFCON qualifier game against South Africa.
