We want to maintain our 100% record — Danjuma

Nigeria’s coach Chris Danjuma said the team will approach their last Group game at the ongoing FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup with all seriousness.

The Falconets will clash with Canada at the Estadio Alajuela Morera Soto in the early hours of Thursday (3am) in Nigeria.

Nigeria is can finish top of group C having secured a spot in the quarter-final, having won their opening two games against France and Korea Republic respectively.

Speaking ahead of the dead rubber final Group C game against Canada Danjuma said, his team is focused on keeping their 100 percent record.

“We would like to make it three wins out of three to maintain a great mental state –the winning mentality. If we are used to winning, it would be difficult for any team to bring us down.

It won’t be an easy game, but we approach it like any other game here,” Danjuma concluded.
