Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma has spoken ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup tie against NPFL favourites Enyimba.
Speaking to brila.net, Eguma said, no doubt Enyimba are in a very good form currently in the domestic league but his side will not hesitate to put up a fight and work hard towards the game.
“It’s so amazing of recent that Enyimba has spring up lately with a fine form in the league, I give them kudos and can’t rule out that they are one of the best in the country, especially having a lot of experience when it comes to the continent so, we have respect for them.”
“They have been the team that had represented Nigeria better in the continent so, give it to them that yes they are a very good side that have commanded a lot of respect and experience but you know this is a competition and again its football, we will give our best that’s why I said it’s only our best that can make us scale through.
