
Arsene Wenger got one over his nemesis, Jose Mourinho, after 13 meetings in the Premier League following Arsenal’s 2-1 win against Manchester United at the Emirates on Sunday.
Granit Xhaka (54′) and Danny Welbeck (57′) delivered the blows that sent the Red Devils down a grim abyss, and Wenger home a happy bloke happy as he continues the arduous task of trying to finish in the top four.

Wenger did not let up after the double strikes, as he called on his bench introducing not Alex Iwobi, but Francois Coquelin, Olivier Giroud and Hector Bellerin.
The Nigeria International was left on the bench again on Sunday; the fifth game in a roll without game time.
Following Sunday’s victory, Arsenal are now six points from crashing the top four party, with two games in hand.
