England and Liverpool legend Michael Owen is convinced that Emmanuel Dennis is a great signing for Premier League side, Watford.
Dennis arrived at Watford from Club Brugge last summer and has been an instant hit at the club.
The 23-year-old scored his nineth league goal in Watford’s 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at the Villa Park on Saturday.
The goal ended the Hornets’ run of 12 games in all competitions with a win and also handed new manager Roy Hodgson his first victory in charge of the struggling club.
“I was equally surprised with Watford winning away at Aston Villa,”
“Dennis, what a player, what a signing he’s been in the Premier League this season, great finish again from him.” Owen told Premier League Productions.
Dennis has been involved in 14 goals for Watford (9 goals and 5 assists) for the London based side in 22 league games this season.
