Super Eagles and Leganes of Spain new signing, Kenneth Josiah Omeruo has revealed that he had to snub another Spanish club side who were interested in his services, before settling with his new employers.
Omeruo ended his seven-year stint at Chelsea – without ever playing a game for the Blues.
The 25-year-old defender last week secured a permanent move to Leganes following an impressive loan spell last season.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Omeruo added that things are very different in Spain, unlike previous environments which he has had a different experience.
“I need something different, something challenging. I had the opportunity to go to two teams in Spain and I chose Leganes because of the effort they put in to get me and sign me”

The La Liga side has forked out £4.6million for the Nigerian international, who has penned a five-year contract.
