The Management of Wikki Tourists FC have “terminated” the contract of their Technical Adviser, Muhammad Usman Baba ( Babaganaru ).
Babaganaru was given a four-week notice of termination of contract commencing on 21 April ,2017 according to club sources.
Wikki Tourists are currently 16th on the NPFL table and one point above relegation after the first half of the league season.
He replaced former Coach, Abdul Maikaba, who finished third last season, helping the club pick a continental ticket in the process.
The former Kano Pillars Coach was seen as a capable replacement for Maikaba after the latter opted to join Akwa United in the 2017 season.
Wikki were knocked out of the CAF Confederation Cup in the preliminary round of the competition by Sierra Leone club, RSLAF 2-1 on aggregate.
In the meantime, Chief coach Mbas Mangut will take charge of the Bauchi-based club pending the appointment of a permanent Technical Adviser.
