Kwara United striker Michael Ohanu said he’s delighted to win the man of the match award against Enyimba, but insists the team goal remains the ultimate.
Ohanu was unplayable against Enyimba in their rescheduled match in Ilorin on Wednesday.
The forward set up the solitary goal of the game for Stephen Jude and was unlucky not to get a goal himself.
In a chat with brila.net, Ohanu said he wasn’t expecting to named man of the match with array of stars on parade.
The former MFM FC and Sunshine Stars of Akure striker however insisted that he will continue to give his best for the team.
“I wasn’t expecting it, but I’m so excited, it was a great performance from the everyone and not just me.” He told brila.net
“To be named man of the match after such important win against such opponents is an honor and most importantly, we are glad to get the three points”. He said.
It would be recalled that Ohanu was also on target against Plateau United in the first match of the season.
